I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this book light, in terms of quality, but ended up being pleasantly surprised! The maple covering looks very nice and the "binding" is a really cool design that adds to the ascetic of the "book" without sacrificing the durability. The amount of light that this little lamp puts out is astounding, almost blinding on one of the three modes which you alternate by opening and closing the book. The one drawback for me is that I wish there was a way to adjust the brightness to have more of a cozy atmosphere. The charging port is well hidden which adds to the look of this being magical. Overall, I would give this a solid 8 out of 10!
I loved this product so much! It's so small and great for bringing around or reading at night! The looks of it are very cute. It works amazingly, the lights are bright and the settings are simple yet fun! For it to be stable, you may need to fold it all the way around and leave it like that for a while, or leave heavier books on both edges while it's flat! It's definitely 5/5 stars!
I got the smaller, "maple" book. It is beautiful. Much smaller than expected (it's pocket sized, about an inch thick), and light, it's gorgeously made. And always surprising when opening it -- the glow of the book is lovely. There are several settings (white light, warm light, various blinks and whatnots, and there are several set ups -- but I like it gently glowing as an open book on a surface). I expect that I will even use it to travel -- its small enough and keeps the charge well.
The book comes well wrapped, suitable for gift giving, and includes a charger pluggable to a USB port.
The whole family loves it!
This little book lamp is simply adorable. I have it on my bookshelves amongst my beloved books. When open, the light is on. When closed, it is off. It comes with a cord to charge it, so no batteries. It is quite small, making it a great bookshelf decoration.
Looks even better in person. The diffused light is the perfect color and adds a warm glow to the area. Great little price that gets people talking. Looks just as nice closed and stored as it does opened up and illuminated. They appear well made and look like they will hold up to use. Perfect size for a small end table.
